Meal service may be requested for up to five weekdays
each week, and may be provided for as long as the recipient continues
to meet eligibility requirements. Meals are delivered before, at,
or after noon on weekdays; delivery on holidays varies by area program.
Some programs are able to accommodate certain special dietary considerations,
such as low salt, diabetic, or mechanical; you may inquire as to
which meal types your area program provides. Daily meal cost and
billing arrangements to the recipient vary slightly by area program.
Specifics of each area program can be discussed with the program
coordinator during the eligibility interview.
If you or someone that you know seems to meet the
above eligibility requirements, please see How
To Request Meals.
